Come together to create stunning florals in celebration of spring.

This unique workshop at The Barns at Redcoats will be lead by experienced florist Clare of Hopyard Lane. Clare will help us all to create “spring showstoppers”, by that we mean truly stunning floral creations using British grown flowers from independent local flower farms.

You will learn the art of creating wild but elegant floral designs. Starting with selecting your blooms and foliage from buckets of glorious freshly picked, locally grown beauties. You will also learn the professional tips and tricks of conditioning and caring for flowers to help them last longer. Everyone will create something scented and beautiful to take home and enjoy.

All of this will take place in the glorious Barns at Redcoats, under the pagoda that leads out to the gardens beyond.

The cost includes a welcome glass of bubbles to get the creative juices flowing (or Elderflower cordial), all the flowers and floral equipment (aprons, floral scissors etc.). We ask that you bring your own vase or jug, though we will have a selection of vases for you to purchase on the evening if something special catches your eye.

Welcome to all levels of ability, maybe you are a beginner who has fallen in love with Willow Crossley’s Sunday Instagram videos and want to experiment with some extra hands on guidance. Or you are green fingered and fancy treating yourself to an evening indulging your floral fantasies. All most welcome!
