Bumblebee Collective founder Ruth will introduce our theme for the day ‘discovery’ and our storytellers. 

11:10 - PAPER REVIEW OF THE DAY LED BY HEAD OF NEWS PLANNING FOR NO 10 DOWNING STREET

Explore the news of the day. The truth, the post truth and nothing but the truth from our current affairs lovers. The panel includes Sharan Chaggar-Kemp(Head of Government News Planning at No. 10 Downing Street). 

Working behind the scenes on the biggest stories of the day, briefing PMs and having to always be one step ahead of the narrative, Sharan is going to step off the frenetic politico-news treadmill (well, it is a Sunday) and share her personal favourite stories. 

Amelia Torode, will also be on the panel picking her share of curious stories of the day. Daughter of two journalists, Amelia has been brought up with inky fingers and a questioning mind. Frequent TED talker and FT part-time power-lister Amelia will lead the later discussion on ‘Making work, work for you’.

11: 45 - FOOD FOR THOUGHT PANEL WITH FOODIES, FARMERS & FOOD PIONEERS 

Join our drool inducing panel as they share the stories behind the flavours served up today, food for thought indeed! Discover our farm to fork ethos here at The Farmhouse from James Nye(whose family have revived the farmhouse and barns to its current glory).

James will share how our farmers are pioneering new methods with incredible results for the pallet and the planet. Tom Williams of Maydencroft Manor Native Breeds Farm (just down the road) will reveal how his family helped to bring English Longhorn cattle back from the brink of extinction. Jason Barber, founder of Black Cow Vodka and inventor of Pure Milk Vodka, will tell us how a 200 year old family tradition of cheddar making has taken an unexpected new twist into the world of vodka., taking whey (the historical problem child of the dairy industry) and turning it into superior premium vodka. 

12:30 - SELF DISCOVERY: FIND YOUR SUPER POWERS

1:15 - FASHION: DISCOVER THE ART OF A KILLER SUIT

Discover the art of a killer suit through the ages and how it wasn’t just cars that gave 007 the edge. Our panel, chaired by Musto Designer Louise Clinton, brings together tailors and designers who represent the best of the old and new in fashion including Alice Burkitt, who cut her cloth at Burberry and Gieves & Hawkes before setting out on her own and all round legend and tailor to the pop stars of the 60s Tony Bone who started his apprenticeship in tailoring aged just 14. They, they will explore the art of a well-cut suit through the decades and a shared passion for doing things properly in a world of throw away fashion.
